High Resolution Monitors are used for many Graphic Design, Architectural, Engineering, Scientific and Medical field applications. DES has served these industries since 1993 and is aware of their need for high quality displays. As High Resolution Monitors age, they may produce an image that is no longer desirable for High Quality applications. Problems that could effect the monitor overall image quality include, poor gray scale images, poor white balance, a soft focus image, blurry, unreadable text, poor color convergence and inaccurate color tints. The repair procedures at DES have been developed to address the industries expectations of quality. Our procedures and tools are designed for accurate repair and alignments of all High Resolution Video Displays. Computer controlled Digital Alignment Systems (DAS) provide our technicians with a tool that ensures flawless alignment and accuracy that is consistent with every repair. LCD repair is performed at the component level using Chip On Glass or TAB Chip replacement methods. The procedures used in the repair of LCD's require miniature surface mount conductor to glass rework techniques. These techniques have a proven 90% success rate and are designed to ensure the highest level of quality. Displays repaired include all types, all sizes, Active Matrix, Passive Dual Scan, Monochrome and Plasma. Backlight assemblies, Polarizers, and FL Inverters can be replaced and are dependent on parts availability. Row and Column drivers are replaced to resolve missing blocks or groups of blocks, single or multiple horizontal and vertical line problems. Conductor to glass connections can be repaired to resolve intermittent displays. The display is terminal when the glass envelope is cracked and the only recourse is replacement of the whole display. Once the monitors have been completed, they are tested on a video generator system that can be set-up to duplicate the machine type in which the monitor runs on. Thorough testing is performed to ensure the quality of the finished repair products.
